TREVISO, ITALY — Thursday March 21, 2024 adidas Basketball proudly announces the highly-anticipated return of adidas Eurocamp, the premier showcase highlighting the talents of Europe's top NBA Draft eligible prospects. Set to return for its 17th edition from June 1-3 at the renowned Ghirada La Città Dello Sport in Treviso, Italy, this year's event promises to be unparalleled, with the introduction of the World Team comprised of elite players hailing from LATAM, Africa, Australia, APAC, and emerging markets alongside top European talents.

As the only officially sanctioned NBA pre-Draft camp outside of the United States and historically attended by hundreds of NBA and EuroLeague team personnel, coaches, scouts and agents, adidas Eurocamp offers next gen athletes ages 18-22 the unique opportunity to be coached by current NBA coaches and players and show off their impressive skills on a world stage.

Participating teams this year include 2 Eurocamp Teams (Draft eligible athletes), 2 US Teams, ANGT Select Team, and the World Team. Returning to spearhead this elite global event are esteemed Coaching Director, Bill Bayno, former NBA Assistant Coach, and returning as Scouting Director, Gianluca Pascucci. Their leadership, coupled with the global representation of talent, underscores adidas Eurocamp's commitment to excellence and diversity in basketball.

"adidas Eurocamp serves as a beacon for aspiring basketball stars, providing a platform to present their skills on a global stage," said Bill Bayno. "I am thrilled to witness the convergence of talent from across continents, fostering an environment of competition and community. Our goal is to not only showcase their talents to the NBA and the world but to also coach and teach them NBA terminology, NBA offensive and defensive actions with counters by high level NBA assistants."

Gianluca Pascucci said, "The addition of the World Team marks a significant milestone in the evolution of adidas Eurocamp. We are dedicated to nurturing talent from diverse backgrounds and fostering a culture of inclusivity."

Since its inception, adidas Eurocamp has been instrumental in shaping the careers of numerous NBA and EuroLeague players. Notable Eurocamp alumni include NBA standouts Zion Williamson (New Orleans Pelicans), Darius Garland (Cleveland Cavaliers), Danilo Gallinari (Milwaukee Bucks), Goran Dragić (Retired NBA Player), Brandon Ingram (New Orleans Pelicans), Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics), Jusuf Nurkić (Phoenix Suns), Lu Dort (Oklahoma City Thunder) and Bogdan Bogdanović (Atlanta Hawks), all a testament to the camp's impact on the global basketball landscape.
