ADIDAS 11th ANNUAL EUROCAMP LA GHIRADA SPORTS COMPLEX IN TREVISO, ITALY JUNE 8-10, 2013
Tipping off June 8-10, adidas Basketball will host the 11th annual adidas Eurocamp; a three-day showcase of Europe’s finest basketball players ranging in age 18-21. adidas Eurocamp will take place at La Ghirada Sports Complex in Treviso, Italy and is the only officially sanctioned NBA pre-draft camp outside of the United States.
adidas Eurocamp invites elite players throughout Europe to participate and gain the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of scouts, coaches, and general managers from a number of basketball teams and leagues from around the world, including the NBA and Euroleague, as well as gain exposure from major global media outlets. The 2012 adidas Eurocamp was attended by 65 agents, 100 coaches and more than 250 NBA and European general managers, scouts and basketball personnel.

OVER THE LAST 11 YEARS, EUROCAMP HAS PRODUCED 80 PLAYERS WHO HAVE PLAYED OR ARE CURRENTLY PLAYING IN THE NBA OR EUROLEAGUE. Some notable European players who have attended Eurocamp include Danilo Gallinari of the Denver Nuggets, Serge Ibaka of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Andrea Bargnani of the Toronto Raptors, Marco Belinelli of the Chicago Bulls, Nicolas Batum of the Portland Trailblazers and Marcin Gortat of the Phoenix Suns. In addition to Eurocamp’s success in professional basketball worldwide, 21 Eurocamp participants appeared in the London 2012 Olympic games.
The world will be watching as media from the U.S and Europe including outlets such as ESPN, NBA TV, Sports Illustrated, SLAM Magazine, Super Basket, Mondial Basket, Gigantes and more will all be on hand to cover the three-day event. Current GM’s and coaches who have attended and expected to return to Eurocamp include Larry Bird, Jay Triano, Danny Ainge, Jack Sikma, Rolando Blackman, Keith Smart, Kevin McKale, Donnie Nelson, Ettore Messina, David Blatt and Sergio Scariolo.
adidas Eurocamp will take place at La Ghirada Sports Complex - “SportCity”. The state-of-the art sports facility features a fitness center, three indoor basketball courts, a swimming pool and a golf practice area.
